Divisions/Division Specific Awards

Junior Angler – Anyone 16 years of age or younger

• 1st – 15th Place Billfish
• 1st – 15th Place Dolphin
• 1st – 15th Place Tuna
• 1st – 15th Place Wahoo
• 1st – 15th Place King Mackerel
• Volvo Penta Grand Slam Jr. Angler Award: Largest combined weight of Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo and King Mackerel caught by a single Jr. Angler. (All 4 species do not have to be caught to qualify. One fish per species.)

Lady Angler- Female anglers only (any female over the age of 16)

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Senior Angler – Male/Female individuals 60 years of age and up

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Amateur Boat – Boats with no crewmembers being paid to fish tournament

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Pro Boat – Boats with one or more crewmembers being paid to fish tournament

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Outboard Boat – Boats fishing with outboard motors

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Charter Boat – Registered charter boats

• 1st – 3rd Place Billfish

Overall Billfish – Based on total release points

• 1st – 3rd Place

Overall Heaviest Dolphin

• 1st – 3rd Place

Overall Heaviest Tuna

• 1st – 3rd Place

Overall Heaviest Wahoo

• 1st – 3rd Place

Overall Heaviest King Mackerel

• 1st – 3rd Place

Volvo Penta Grand Slam Award – Largest combined weight of dolphin, tuna, wahoo and king mackerel (all 4 species do not have to be caught to qualify, only 1 fish per species)

Special Awards

Largest Estimated Blue Marlin – Based on estimated release weight honor system

Participation Award – Any Small Fry and Junior Angler who caught a fish at the tournament, who helped on the boat and participated during the tournament.

Capt. Fannies Sportsmanship Award – Given to an individual or boat who show outstanding sportsmanship during the tournament.
