Sea Marie Takes Overall Trophy |

The Sea Marie took the overall trophy for the 5th Annual Barta Boys & Girls Club Billfish Tournament. The Blake family has fished the tournament for the past 4 years and released a sailfish on Friday and again on Saturday to take the overall lead based on time. Ten year old Jr. Angler George Rose fishing aboard the Yellow Fin with Capt. Jeff Garner took home the winning Jr. Angler trophy from the 5th Annual Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament. George released two sailfish one on Friday morning and another one on Saturday morning. The largest dolphin was brought in by Edward Julian fishing on the Dancing Outlaw at 44.1lbs. Carolyn Poole aboard the Blue Water won the Tuna Division with a 20.9lb fish while Hunter Hawkins brought a 25.8lb Wahoo to the scales fishing aboard the Miss Brook II. Tony Wielicki caught a 22.1lb King Mackerel aboard Just One More V to finish off the game fish division for Jr. Anglers. We congratulate all of the winners and thank all of the participants for another successful tournament.
